Help load our materials at the T.A. office

Set up in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Sunday, July 11, 6:30 am-8 am):
Help set up the start in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, outside the Queens Museum of Art. This work involves heavy lifting and set up of chairs, tables and literature.

Registration in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Sunday, July 11, 8:30am-9:30am):
Sign riders up for the tour Flushing Meadows Corona Park, outside the Queens Museum of Art and direct people to the start location. This is the most important volunteer job, because a smooth start sets a positive tone for the whole ride.

Rest Stop Crew at Queens County Farm Museum (Sunday, July 11, 9:30am-12pm):
Join us in the parade grounds of Queens County Farm Museum to feed our hungry and thirsty riders. Get first pick in snacks here!

Finish in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (Sunday, July 11, 12-3pm):
Greet riders returning from the tour and help T.A. clean up.

Riding Marshal (Sunday, July 11, 8am-3pm) must be over 18:
Help keep our riders safe and help them with basic mechanical problems like flat tires and slipped chains. Riding marshals must have their own bikes and be comfortable with riding in Queens

Register as a group of 5 or more.
Check here if you are registering a group of volunteers. The volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you to match your group with a suitable volunteer opportunity.

Waiver: By participating in this activity, you indicate that you understand the nature and dangers of bicycling activities, are qualified to participate in such activities and do so at your own risk. Children: Adults bringing children under the age of 14 are responsible for them and required to accompany the children throughout the ride. Please note the New York law requires children aged 14 and under wear a helmet when bike riding. Helmets are strongly encouraged for ALL riders.
